Merry Christmas all, I pray that you all had a very merry Christmas. I did, my family did, and even my cat, Gandolf, did. I say this because my daughter came home to visit with her dog Oliver. This displaces Gandolf to our bedroom, negating his ability to roam the house at will. Normally he goes into a depressed pout for the duration of Oliver's visit. This year he discovered something. He discovered that could go mess with Oliver's food and water. Usually its just Oliver mes

Christmas greetings everyone, This year Christmas feels a little weird. Last year was definitely a weird year. But this year is even weirder still, even compared with last year. Everyone seems to be afraid. But they are not all afraid of the same thing. Their fears are specific to their life situation. Satan and the world come at us in a way that is specific to our own environment, making our life situations seem even scarier than we could believe possible. Satan is an insidi

Greetings all, I pray that this Christmas will be a blessing to you. For many of us it will be bittersweet. We have all lost friends and loved ones over the last couple of years. Many are experiencing financial turmoil. I serve the homeless, as you know, and the homeless are always in need of miracles. We need to remember that God is in the miracle business. Christmastime is all about miracles. In fact, Jesus Christ is a miracle. Let us continue to believe in and pray for mir

Greetings everyone, I pray that you are all doing well. As we approach Christmas, keep your focus on Jesus and who he is and what this means for all of us. I pray that today's message helps us to do this. I would like to begin today where we left off last week with each of us as believers being the signs and wonder of God. I believe this speaks directly to the idea that each of us is a representative of God. However, it seems to me that many of us who call ourselves Christian

Greetings all, I pray that you all are continuing to stay strong in the Lord. Be encouraged, know that you are being prayed for. Praise and thank the Lord. Today I will continue with our look to Jesus as we enter into this Christmas season. We will again go to the book of Isaiah. Isaiah, a Jerusalem prophet whose writings are considered to be pretty accurate historically. He is also credited with writing the history of King Uzziah. The book of Isaiah is a book that illustrate

Greetings everyone, I pray all is well. I know that everything seems so out of control right now. Let me encourage you. You are not alone. If you believe in God, you are never alone. Our message today proves this point. Today we will continue on our journey to Christmas. I call this a journey, though it really is a study of God’s Word. Today we will be looking at some Old Testament scriptures that prophesy the coming of the Messiah. The difficulty for us, as we read scripture

Greetings everyone, Today I feel the need to preach Jesus. Why is this? Well, first of all, I believe that I am called to preach Jesus. Secondly, I feel ill at ease right now, with all that is happening in the world and in our country. Looking to Jesus is good for all of us, especially, and selfishly for me, and prayerfully for you too. Finally, we are rapidly approaching Christmas, I want to be preaching about Jesus, amen? God led me to a great scripture that bridges our loo

Greetings all, I pray that you and your families are well and focused on the Lord. As I was watching TV the other day (something I don’t often get to do), I noticed something about the commercials. Most of the commercials focused on individuals and their attention to their own wants and needs only. I am amazed at how quickly some people become self focused. The TV media plays on this emotion in individuals to direct their advertising, and social media plays on this to draw vi

Greetings everyone, I pray that you are well and remain strong in the faith of our Lord Jesus. Today we will finish up our quick look at leadership in the Bible. We will begin with why are there evil leaders at all? Why does God allow these people to come to power? Also, what does the Bible say about this? Then I thought it would be good to finish with some thoughts of what we should do as individuals and a community. I will begin with scripture from the book of Habakkuk. Hab

Greetings brothers and sisters, I pray that you and your families are well and safe. Stay true to the Lord and God’s Word. Do not take the bait of the current political environment. We will continue our look today to the kings of Israel for some lessons on leadership. Again, I feel the need to explain my reasoning here. This message today, and the others on this topic were inspired by the Holy Spirit. I am not making political points. Here me please: Sure, I have a political

Greetings, everyone, I pray for your health, your salvation, and your faith. For all are in peril today. This is not a happy message, however, there is always a happy ending. But it must be proclaimed. I am compelled by God’s Spirit to proclaim it. The headlines never seem to improve. They used to improve after a period of bad headlines. Things seem to be becoming worse and worse. Covid-19, the vaccine and treatment controversy related to Covid-19, the failure at our border,

Greetings all, I pray this message finds you well and blessed. Some of you I see on a regular basis and I am so thankful for that. For others of you, it has been a while, so for you that I miss, please know that you are missed. I continue to pray for you all daily. We have just two more weeks in the book The Chemistry of the Blood by M.R. DeHaan. God did create something special when he created us, something more intricate than most of us realize. The insights available to us

Greetings everyone. May the peace of our Lord Jesus be with you today. I pray you are well. This has been a difficult week for all of us. Covid-19 is back. Afghanistan is a self inflicted mess. A tremendous hurricane is giving the Gulf Coast region a serious body blow. The heat is getting to all of us and our ACs are conking out. But these are not the things that bother us the most. Something else is troubling each of us, that something is poor leadership. Nationally, our lea

Greetings to you all. I pray that you each are well and blessed. I am a homebody. It is nice to get away. But it is also nice to return home. I always wish my vacation was longer, yet as I drive home, I am continually desiring to get home. I am looking forward to getting home. I think most of you understand what I mean by this. Traveling and vacations are nice. But there really is no place like home. Imagine that our homeless friends have no concept of this feeling. Yet there

Today we will continue our look at the book by Dr. M.R. DeHaan, The Chemistry of the Blood. We will continue our look at Jesus’ teaching on prayer contained in the book of Matthew. This teaching was in response to the disciples’ request to be taught about prayer. Last week we looked at the negative teaching on prayer. Do not pray like the hypocrites, prayer is not to make us look good in our neighbor’s eyes. It’s not to elevate our status. Long public prayers are not a necess

I pray you all are well. We will continue to glean from Dr. M.R. DeHaan’s book, The Chemistry of the Blood. Today we will look at the science of prayer or the chemistry of prayer. Prayer is everybody’s gift and privilege. While we often need preparation and training to become efficient preachers, evangelists, and ministry workers, the gift of prayer is offered to all who believe. God gives to each man or woman their gifts and their calling, according to their ability. But the

Greetings to you all. It is nice to get away on vacation. I pray you each are well and blessed. Today we will continue our look into M.R. DeHaan’s book The Chemistry of the blood. Remember, what I believe is of such value in this book are the insights that Dr. DeHaan gives to us regarding scripture and science. These insights are invaluable for us today. Out of many different wonderful teachings from Dr. DeHaan’s book, some of these today are my favorites. Let’s begin at the

Greetings to you all. I pray that you had a very enjoyable Fourth of July. Today I will continue our look at M.R. DeHaan’s book, The Chemistry of the Blood. Last week we finished up our lesson on the Chemistry of Revelation with this thought: God is invisible as a Spirit. He cannot be seen. Only in Christ do we see God. Let’s begin here today. God has pleased himself to make Himself known to us through His attributes revealed in the Person of Christ. We can classify these at

Greetings all, I pray all is well with you and yours. Today I will continue with our look at the book The Chemistry of the Blood by Dr. M.R. DeHaan. I pray that you are getting something from this book. I love this book. Today we will talk about the power of revelation from God. How God reveals himself to us. Let us go back in time. If you can, visualize with me the time when there was no time. Before time began God was complete and all-sufficient in his eternal pre-existence

Greetings 2Gather2Gether family, I pray that you and yours are doing well. I will be out of both my offices for the next week or so. Therefore, next Monday there will be no TFT. I will try to send out some form of 2G² update next Monday the 21st. Today we will continue with our look at the book The Chemistry of the Blood by Dr. M.R.DeHaan. I pray that you are learning something from this study. Throughout the Bible, from cover to cover, there runs a trail of blood. This is th
