Executive Director
Kimani became the Executive Director of Opportunity House in July 2021. He is very passionate about communities and the good work and unity it takes to recognize their full potential. He's responsible for driving the mission of Opportunity House and he approaches each challenge with great enthusiasm. He has been giving back to communities for over 11 years.

Pastor
Jim is the pastor of Opportunity House and The Gathering, the congregation affiliated with Opportunity House. He is ordained in the United Methodist Church. Jim grew up on a farm in Illinois and began his career as a mechanical engineer. After working in this capacity for thirty years, he, his wife Linda, and their four boys moved to North Carolina.

Faith Community Nurse
Amanda joined the team in 2023. She is originally from West Virginia and moved to North Carolina in 2007. Amandafeels serving this community is the perfect combination of her passion for mission work and over 20 years of nursing experience she brings to Opportunity House.
KathyRowlands
Food Manager
Kathy started at Opportunity House two years ago by volunteering to cook breakfast and lunch one day a week for guests. After six months she took over the position as cook and food coordinator. By utilizing food that has been graciously donated she has cut the food budget while also creating delicious and nutritious meals. Kathy loves working at Opportunity House because she believes that this is where God has lead her to serve.
